The classic Nairobi\u2013Amboseli run<\/h2>\n

Amboseli is one of the shortest proper safaris out of Nairobi \u2014 roughly four hours’ drive \u2014 which makes this 3-day, 2-night itinerary a practical choice if you want a genuine game-viewing safari without committing a full week. The park’s permanent swamps hold water year-round, drawing some of Kenya’s largest elephant herds, often photographed with Mount Kilimanjaro behind them.<\/p>\n

How the three days work<\/h3>\n

Day one is the drive from Nairobi with a game drive on arrival. Day two is a full day in the park, with morning and afternoon drives either side of the midday heat. Day three is an early game drive \u2014 the best window for a clear Kilimanjaro view \u2014 before the return to Nairobi.<\/p>\n
