For travellers with four days to spend on safari from the coast, this itinerary covers the complete southern-Kenya circuit rather than choosing between parks: Tsavo East’s open red plains, Tsavo West’s volcanic hills and springs, and Amboseli’s swamp grassland beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day one is Tsavo East, with game drives and an overnight at a park lodge or camp. Day two crosses into Tsavo West, with an afternoon game drive and, where time allows, an optional Mzima Springs walk to view hippo and fish underwater. Day three is the transfer to Amboseli, arriving for an afternoon drive; Amboseli’s permanent swamps hold water year-round and support large elephant herds. Day four is a final, early Amboseli game drive — timed for the best chance of a clear Kilimanjaro view — before the return drive to the coast.

Travellers who want a genuine multi-park safari rather than a single destination, and who are comfortable with several days of road travel between parks. It is a substantial itinerary best suited to a longer coastal stay rather than a short beach add-on.

The price shown is a guide per adult sharing a twin room across three nights, full board, with current park fees for all three sections. Given the road time involved, flying one leg (most commonly the Amboseli return) can be arranged on request and quoted separately.
